Interoperable services

Another way to access IEPNB data is through its interoperable services. This type of access allows different computer applications to exchange information automatically, in a structured, and secure manner.

Interoperable services can be especially useful in these cases:

• If you develop a website or app, you can automatically connect to display official inventory information without having to copy or update it manually.
• If you work in a public administration, you can incorporate IEPNB data directly into your own tools: for example, in a map viewer, an internal database, or a land management application.
• If you use environmental analysis tools or geographic information systems (GIS), you can connect directly to IEPNB layers and databases for your studies or projects.
• If you're dedicated to researching natural heritage and biodiversity or are an environmental technician, you can automate data querying and downloading for repetitive analyses.
