MITECO promotes a demonstration project for the conservation of the European shag.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has launched a demonstration project to improve the conservation status of the European shag in 11 marine protected areas in Galicia, Asturias, and Cantabria. It will do so through participation, innovation, and governance in collaboration with these three autonomous communities.
