February 25, 2021.- The Vice President and Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, announced this afternoon in the Senate the creation of a technical group to work on a harmonized model for wolf management and conservation.

This morning, the working group on the critical situation of the Cantabrian capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus cantabricus) met.

The acting Secretary of State for the Environment, Hugo Morán, has pointed out that wetland conservation is one of the "nature-based solutions" that will allow Spain to address biodiversity loss and mitigate the effects of climate change.

The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), meeting in Bonn, Germany, from 28 August to 3 September 2023, adopted the Assessment Report on Invasive Alien Species and Their Control.

On the occasion of the International Day of Forests, Vice President and Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, highlighted the value of our main "ecological infrastructure" and the importance of managing it properly.
